Still looking for something that works well for me there. Then it was to bring up Divy, but I didn't use it enough. Think keyboard shortcuts, mouse gestures, Touch Bar. For a while it was to bring up my twitter client, but I stopped using twitter. BetterTouchTool helps you completely customize and configure how you enter information into your Mac. Three-finger-click-swipe up I've been playing around with. Three-finger-click-swipe down is application specific, but usually will bring up a menu (by setting multiple things to that action) with things that I do frequently in that app. Three-finger-click-swipe left is the "Show menubar in context menu" (which is really nice on multi-monitor setups as I don't have to go to the one screen with the menu bar, I can just access it where-ever I am). I also have several three-finger-click-swipe right gestures set up to launch apps (Mail, Safari, Finder, Messages, etc.) that I use a lot (having multiple means that a menu is displayed and I can choose from them). Tower (my git client) has them set to Stage All, Commit, and Push. Mail has them set to new, reply, and flag (respectively). swipe anywhere turns the entire bar into a volume control, and a three-finger swipe does the same for brightness. Pinch out is new tab.įor most apps a four finger click is paste and five finger click is copy.įor many apps I have custom handlers for three (usually middle click), four, and five finger clicks that do the most common actions in that app.

I do the same as most here, but I have the pinch in gesture be close tab (and close app for certain apps like the app store, reminders, iCal, etc.).
